Few organizations have more potential to be dangerous than the NRA, who have drawn heat in recent months for the rather . . . let’s call it “ISIL-like” tone of their rhetoric.
For instance, in a recent video, these crazy John Birchers threatened the “elites,” and said they’re coming for us. And let’s not kid ourselves; that “elites” encompasses anyone who supports sane gun laws and is to the left of Atilla the Hun.
Technically, that “elites” is a veiled reference to Jews, just like “globalism” and “Cultural Marxism” are references to the “destruction” that Jewish people supposedly carry out against White Christian Society — and if you deny that let me kindly direct you towards one of the oldest conspiracies in the modern age, the Jewish Bolshevism conspiracy — but these lunatics won’t bother making a distinction. The Nazis sure didn’t.
In their newest video, Spokeswoman Dana Loesch — who really should be under investigation for her violent rhetoric — addresses the New York Times directly:
We’ve had it with your narratives, your propaganda, your fake news. We’ve had it with your constant protection of your Democrat overlords, your refusal to acknowledge any truth that upsets the fragile construct that you believe is real life. And we’ve had it with your tone-deaf assertion that you are in any way truth or fact-based journalism. Consider this the shot across your proverbial bow. … In short? We’re coming for you.
All that’s missing is the black flag with the white Arabic text.
In a way, this echoes what NRA president,
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Wayne LaPierre said earlier this month:
There is no longer any difference between our politicians and the elite media who report on them. … These elites threaten our very survival, and to them we say: We don’t trust you, we don’t fear you, and we don’t need you. Take your hands off our future.
Of course, the real threat to their existence isn’t the media. It’s the drop in gun sales that happened after Trump took office. Gotta rile those donors somehow, and if it comes with a side of stochastic terrorism — who’s gonna care, huh?
