Our pussy-grabber-in-chief is at it again, and this time on the international stage. While visiting French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, Trump repeatedly leered and commented on the first ladies’ looks.
Things got weird right from the start. Trump stepped out of the car and greeted the French president, then said a long, awkward hello to Brigitte Macron. At one point, Macron tried to pull away but Trump grabbed her hand and pulled it closer to himself, forcing her to maintain physical contact with him.

Later, Trump really channeled his inner misogynist and complemented Ms. Macron on her good looks.
You’re in such good shape. She’s in such good physical shape. Beautiful.
As if that were not already sexist enough, he then looked her up and down, turned to her husband and seemed to congratulate him on his wife’s physical appearance, saying: “She looks great….beautiful.”

What does he think she is, Macron’s prize racehorse? FFS. We are not living in the 1950s anymore, Mr. President. And it may surprise you to hear this, but most women would rather be complemented on their accomplishments, intelligence, or other attributes rather than being objectified by a perverted old man.
Not that we expected anything else. This type of behavior is not new to Mr. Trump, who has a long history of treating women like objects and insinuating that their only worth is in their physical beauty. But what makes us very sad is the message that normalizing this type of behavior sends to the little girls and boys of today, who will grow up to be the leaders of tomorrow.
